...they mean alot.The little things? You know, those little black things stuck in my carrot salad....they mean alot.
Raisins.
The horrid little lifeless, dried up grapes. Why anyone would put them into one’s salad—or more generally speaking—one’s mouth, I haven’t the foggiest. Still, I’ve put stranger things in my mouth before, like right now, as I hum and moan like I’m enjoying myself—being overanimated and panting like this tires me out, like it’s too much for me, like it makes me squirm—when really all I’m trying to do is wash that disgusting, overly sweet taste out of my mouth.
